About
me
For over a decade I’ve worked with some of Canada’s
most interesting private and public sector organizations on the
fundamentals of how they address their markets, employees, suppliers
and investors. As an independent consultant, I’ve also had
the pleasure of collaborating with many Canadian and international
creative agencies on matters of strategy, design and advertising.
Prior to starting my firm, I spent ten years as a management consultant
with the Boston Consulting Group and its predecessor firms in Canada:
The Canada Consulting Group; Cresap, MsCormick and Paget; and Peter
Barnard Associates. Latterly, my practice focused on organizational
development and change management for corporations in Canada, the
U.S. and Mexico, and I was publishing and speaking internationally
on these topics.
I dedicate approximately 10 percent of my time to pro bono work,
and I am actively involved in community development as a board member
and tutor at Parkdale Project Read, a community-based adult literacy
organization, and for 11 years as a director of the not-for-profit,
Canadian Scholarship Trust Foundation (CSTF), Canada’s first
and largest group RESP provider.
I hold a Master of Arts in Economic Geography (Industrial and Commercial
Location) from the University of Toronto and an Honours BA from Queen’s
University, Kingston. |
